Square on 21st Looks Like a Hit for Ballpark Neighborhood
The Ballpark neighborhood has weathered some tough times in recent years. Lately, though, the neighborhood has been re-energized, with a push to create a business improvement district. And now it looks like the city has a hit with The Square on 21st, a new summer pop-up park on 21st Street.
Westword covers the debut of The Square on 21st, a summer pop-up park on 21st Street in Denver's Ballpark District. The temporary park closed a block to cars and turned it into public space with seating, programming and community events, part of a broader push to re-energize the neighborhood and advocate for the 5280 Trail, green space and public space.
