Our mission is to build Denver's Ballpark District into a clean, safe, and fun community for everyone.
We are a group of residents and stakeholders from local businesses, government agencies, neighborhood associations, and religious, charitable, social organizations working together to improve the Ballpark District.
In addition to community service and planning projects, we host a series of events each year designed to build upon Ballpark's existing community and social infrastructure.
The neighborhood developed in the late 1800s fueled by a silver and gold mining boom that funded the growth of Denver.
The city rapidly grew from the 1860s to the 1890s.
In 1893, the boom ended when the United States Federal Government demonetized silver and went solely to the gold standard.
The area has experienced a series of booms and busts and has significant opportunity for growth and development.
Although not currently a registered special district, the area is colloquially referred to as the Ballpark Neighborhood or Ballpark District. The defined boundaries are 20th St to the South, Welton St to the Southeast, Broadway/24th St/Park Avenue West to the Northeast, and Wewatta/Delgany St to the Northwest.
It is a mixed-use neighborhood with predominantly small businesses, low-rise apartment buildings, and parking lots. The Arapahoe Square Zoning district allows for high-rise buildings and increased density. It is bordered by registered special districts including Sakura Square, Welton Street Corridor, Denver’s Central Business District, Five Points Cultural, Curtis Park, RiNo Arts, LoDo, and Union Station Districts.
Be a collaborative voice to build Denver’s Ballpark District into a world-class community that promotes social unity, economic viability, and the positive activation of underutilized public and private spaces.
